Dive into KelpFest 2026 with our Kickoff event!

Learn about successful and inspiring collaborations between conservation organizations, agencies and other groups on the north coast that are working together to restore, protect and strengthen our ocean ecosystems. Eight collaborations will be highlighted in "flash talks", giving updates, sharing news and successes, providing information on how to get involved. Flash talks will be followed by community engagement and tabling.

Many of the featured organizations are hosting their own KelpFest events on Saturday, Sunday or will be featured in films shown Monday so this event is a great way to preview what's to come, and to plan your weekend itinerary.

This event is free and is not ticketed. The event is indoors. Park in nearby downtown Fort Bragg.
